Dr. Momoko Fujita is a Senior Lecturer in Communications and Media at the University of Canberra, affiliated with the Arts & Communication faculty. She holds a PhD from the University of Western Australia and has industry experience in digital marketing across public and private sectors. Her research focuses on digital media's impact on consumer behavior and well-being, including social media influencers, AI ethics in content curation, and digital acculturation.

Research Interests: Digital marketing strategies, consumer well-being, AI ethics, social media engagement, and cross-cultural communication. She explores how digital platforms shape identity and behavior, particularly through user-generated content and brand communities.

- Co-investigator in a AU$41k study on multilingual audiences' sense of belonging.
Advising & Grants: Supervises HDR students researching social media algorithms, spiritual influencers, and migration decisions. Active in grant acquisition totaling over AU$170k since 2018.
Labs/Teams: Serves as Social Media Editor for the Journal of Service Theory and Practice, and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia.
