Molly Allen

Molly Allen is a Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Art and Co-Director of the Fine Arts Galleries at the University of Nevada, Reno's Lake Tahoe campus. She holds an MFA in Ceramics from Ohio University (2019), a Post-Baccalaureate in Ceramics from the University of Montana (2016), and a BFA in Ceramics & New Genres from Sierra Nevada College (2014), where she graduated as Valedictorian.

Allen’s practice combines sculptural ceramics and alternative process image making, exploring themes of liminality, memory, and the interplay between natural and human-made systems. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Canton Museum in Ohio, and she has participated in residencies at prestigious institutions like Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts and The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
