Kari Woolsey serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice in Ceramics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale while also holding the position of Assistant Director of Programs at Artspace 304 and a Visiting Artist appointment in the ceramics department. Her academic foundation includes an MFA from SIUC (2018), Post Baccalaureate from University of Florida (2015), and BFA from Florida Atlantic University (2011).

Professional Recognition: She has completed competitive residencies at Clay Arts Vegas (2017), Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts (2018-2019), Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts as 2020 Salad Days Artist (creating 550 plates for the event), and New Harmony Clay Project (2019-2020).
