Mohammad Sadeghi

Dr. Mohammad Sadeghi is an Assistant Professor in Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering at Michigan Technological University, with an affiliated Assistant Professorship in Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical focus) from Michigan Tech, and prior degrees from Amirkabir University of Technology and Yazd University. Before joining MTU, he served as an Assistant Professor at Montana Technological University (2016-2019), where he secured $300k+ in external grants. His research focuses on bio-inspired ground improvement, AI-driven geotechnical solutions, mine tailings remediation, and geotechnical hazards.
