Dr. Mohammad Saberian is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering at RMIT University, specializing in civil and geotechnical engineering. He holds a PhD from RMIT University and currently serves as a Vice Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellow. His expertise spans road pavements, sustainable construction materials, soil stabilization, and applications of recycled materials. He has authored over 85 Scopus-indexed papers and received 20 awards, including the 2021 Victoria Fellowship and 2021 RMIT Prize for Best PhD Thesis. His research emphasizes low-carbon technologies, circular economy principles, and AI-driven solutions in civil engineering.
Dr. Saberian's research interests include geotechnical engineering, pavement engineering, and the use of recycled materials in construction. His work has been featured in major media outlets such as The New York Times and BBC News. He actively supervises PhD and Master’s students in areas like recycled material stabilization, low-carbon pavements, and geopolymer concrete.
