Jonathan Oti

Jonathan Oti is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of South Wales, within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science. With a background in Chartered Civil Engineering and over a decade of industry experience in construction project management, he transitioned to academia to focus on teaching, research, and policy development. His expertise spans geotechnics, construction management, and sustainable materials innovation, particularly in low-carbon concrete and geopolymer technology.

Dr. Oti's research emphasizes recycling industrial by-products (e.g., fly ash, slag) into construction materials to reduce environmental impact.
