Mirosław Filipowicz is a Professor at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), affiliated with the Department of History and Historiography of Central, Eastern and Eastern Europe within the Faculty of Humanities. As a historian of historiography and cultural historian, he specializes in Russian history, Soviet Union studies, and the intersection of history with international relations. From 2013-2018, he led an international Polish-Russian project funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), producing teaching materials for history educators in both countries.
