Mirko Bothien

Mirko Bothien holds dual roles as **Adjunct Associate Professor** at NTNU’s Department of Energy and Process Engineering and **Senior Lecturer/Head of Research** at the ZHAW School of Engineering’s Thermo fluids Research Group. His work focuses on combustion dynamics of alternative fuels and thermoacoustic stability in energy systems.

Education:

Research: Combines analytical/numerical/experimental methods to address industry challenges. Key areas include hydrogen combustion, reheat combustor dynamics, and distributed thermal energy systems.
