Miriam Lechner

Dr. Miriam Lechner is a Scientific Associate at the Chair of Formal and Informal Learning within the Technical University of Munich. She has been actively involved in the ViFoNet project since July 2024, following her prior role as a research associate and doctoral student at the same chair from April 2019 to June 2024.

Her research focuses on digital media in education, informal learning environments, worked examples, and the motivational and cognitive dimensions of digital learning. She has contributed to projects like DigiChalPro@ViFoNet, BAuA - Research - 4E Cognition in Exhibitions, and Planetary Health in the Museum, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration in learning sciences.

From January 2020 to December 2021, she served as an editorial assistant for the journal Psychologie für Erziehung und Unterricht (Psychology for Education and Teaching). Miriam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Sciences and a Master of Arts in eEducation: Education and Media from Fernuniversität Hagen.
