Mircea Dumitru is a Romanian philosopher currently serving as Vice-president of the Romanian Academy (since 2022) and Executive Director of the Romania-US Fulbright Commission (since 2020). He has held numerous academic and administrative roles, including Rector of the University of Bucharest (2011-2019) and Visiting Professor at Beijing Normal University (2017-2022).
