Mindy Chen-Wishart is a Professor and Provost’s Chair at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she joined full-time after years of fractional appointments. She previously served as Dean of Law and Professor of Contract Law at the University of Oxford, and remains a Visiting and Emeritus Professor there. She is also an Honorary Professor at Otago University and an Emeritus Fellow at Merton College. Her roles span legal education, diversity advocacy, and comparative legal research across Asia, Europe, and beyond.

Her work emphasizes global legal harmonization and cross-cultural understanding.

Leadership & Impact: A pioneer in legal education and diversity initiatives, she has advised judicial colleges globally and co-founded the Oxford Programme on Asian Laws (OPAL). Her teaching spans 14 Asian jurisdictions and multiple international platforms.
