Minas N. Kastanakis is a Professor of Marketing and Director of Research at ESCP Business School's London campus. His research focuses on luxury consumption, cross-cultural consumer behavior, and the intersection of psychoanalysis with consumerism and ethics. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the European Management Journal and has led the Happiness & Management Research Centre, exploring drivers of happiness in organizational contexts. His accolades include multiple Best Conference Paper Awards. With extensive industry experience in luxury sectors (e.g., L’Oreal, Richemont Group) and governmental consulting across Europe and Asia, he bridges academic theory with practical management challenges.
His editorial leadership includes roles at the European Management Journal and Journal of Business Research.
