Milena Kordić is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Architecture. She holds a PhD in Architecture (2014) and an MSc (2009) from the same institution, with her thesis on interspace theory awarded by the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of Serbia. Her research focuses on architectural theory, epistemology of design, and interior architecture, emphasizing philosophical and practical intersections in spatial creation.
Her professional work includes over 15 competition awards, such as the 2017 Hippodrome Area Design Prize and the 2019 Balkan Architecture Biennale Award for the Zejnilović Polyclinic. She leads the design studio SOBA (https://soba.cloud/) and has realized projects across Serbia, Montenegro, and Europe. Active in academic exhibitions, she has curated student showcases and participated in national/international research projects.
