Vanja Spasenović is an Assistant in the Department of Architecture at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Architecture. She holds an M. Arch and is pursuing doctoral studies focused on housing in Serbia within globalization and European integration. Her research explores contemporary architectural theories, urban space perception, and mapping.
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Architecture (2018, University of Belgrade)
- Doctoral studies in Architecture and Urban Planning (ongoing since 2018)
Research & Awards: Recipient of a 2019 scholarship for PhD research on housing standards. Active in international exhibitions (Salon of Architecture, Balkan Architectural Biennale) and competitions. Engaged in the 'Vital Places Lab' research group at the Center for Research Activity (CID).
Professional Contributions: Participated in 10+ architectural competitions, presented at international conferences, and contributed to projects like the Balkan Eco Center and urban revitalization initiatives.
