Architect Ivan Rašković is a Full Professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. He has been employed since 1989 and focuses on architectural and urban design theory and practice. He teaches courses including Design Process, Master Design Studio, and Specialist Courses. His work emphasizes the sociocultural context of architectural typologies. He is a co-author of influential studies like TRADITION – TRANSITION (2011) and Future of Housing (2017). Notably, he has won six professional awards, including the Venice Biennale Commissioner role (2014/2016), and led projects such as the Divčibare Nature Park spatial scheme (2005) and Ljubljana’s athletic complex (2017). He has participated in over 40 competitions, securing 9 first prizes. Currently, he contributes to the INTERREG DANUBE RURALSCAPES project (2025-2027), focusing on sustainable rural development. His research includes housing construction in Serbia and urban renewal.

Research interests span architectural heritage, urban design, and socio-spatial dynamics. He actively participates in international exhibitions and conferences, such as the 10th International Academic Conference on Places and Technologies (2025). His professional roles include former President of Belgrade Society of Architects (2009-2013) and City Architect of Banja Luka (2017-2020).
