Mila Versteeg joined the Law School in 2011 as a faculty member, focusing on comparative constitutional law, public international law, and empirical legal studies. Her scholarship has been published in top-tier journals across law and social science, including the Harvard Law Review, American Political Science Review, and International Journal of Constitutional Law.

Research Interests: Versteeg’s work examines how constitutional rights are enforced globally, the politics of constitutional design, and the effectiveness of constitutional constraints on democratic erosion. She employs empirical methods to analyze judicial review, social rights, and authoritarian constitutionalism.
