Mike Williamson

Professor Mike Williamson is a Personal Chair at the University of Sheffield's School of Biosciences, specializing in protein structure and function using NMR spectroscopy. He holds a ScD from Cambridge (2001) and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (1995). His career includes roles as Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (2017–2021) and leadership in national/international scientific organizations like the UK NMR Discussion Group and the Biochemical Society.
