Mikael Alm

Mikael Alm is a Professor at the Department of History, Uppsala University. His research centers on political and social culture during the age of revolutions, with a focus on power dynamics, legitimacy, and the interplay of fashion, language, and ceremonial practices in 18th- and early 19th-century Sweden. He leads the Gustav's Hand project, digitizing King Gustav III's private archives.
