Dr. Heidi Mehrkens is a Lecturer in Modern European History at the University of Aberdeen, affiliated with the School of Divinity, History, Philosophy & Art History. She holds a Ph.D. from TU Braunschweig and has previously worked as a research fellow at the University of St Andrews (2012-2016) and as a Lecturer in Modern European History (2005-2012). Her roles at Aberdeen include Director of Communications, Senior Personal Tutor, and Interim Undergraduate Programme Coordinator.
