Mien Jao is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Lamar University. He holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering (1995) and an M.E. in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering (1991) from The Pennsylvania State University, alongside a B.S. in Civil and Hydraulic Engineering (1985) from Chung-Yuan University, Taiwan.
Research Interests
His work focuses on geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and environmental engineering, aligning with his academic background and departmental affiliation.
