Micki Kleven serves as Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at George Fox University, transitioning to this full-time role in fall 2025 after prior service as adjunct faculty in the Occupational Therapy program.
Her educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from Washington University in St. Louis (2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Whitworth University (2017).
Dr. Kleven's expertise centers on clinical applications of occupational therapy, with specialized focus on assistive technology integration and community-based rehabilitation services. Her professional background encompasses four years as an assistive technology professional at Numotion, conducting joint evaluations across diverse settings, and outpatient occupational therapy with Infinity Rehab (2021) for clients ineligible for traditional home health services. This informs her research trajectory in accessible therapy solutions and non-institutional care models.
In her capacity as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, she manages student clinical placements and experiential learning. Personal interests include travel, baking, and outdoor activities; she resides in Tualatin, Oregon with her spouse Bradley and two dogs.
