Michelle de Kretser is an Honorary Associate in the Discipline of English and Writing at The University of Sydney. She holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and an MA (UP3). Known for her acclaimed novels, she has won the Miles Franklin Award twice (for *Questions of Travel* and *The Life to Come*) and been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Man Booker Prize. Her work explores themes of cultural identity, migration, and moral complexity through richly layered narratives.
