Michelle Story-Stewart

Michelle Story-Stewart is an Adjunct Professor of Community Development at University of Detroit Mercy's School of Architecture & Community Development. She holds a Doctorate in Urban Planning and MA in Economics from University of Illinois at Chicago, and BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Her research analyzes federal urban policy evolution and implementation tools through historical and ethnographic approaches. Professional experience includes leadership roles at Detroit Land Bank and LISC.
