Michelle Morgan

Michelle Morgan is a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Sheffield Hallam University. She joined the university in October 2023 after a 14-year NHS career, where she held roles such as Clinical Lead, Case Manager, and Advanced Therapy Practitioner, focusing on rehabilitation and service improvement. She currently leads modules on Personal and Professional Development (years 1 and 2) and integrates clinical expertise into her teaching.

Professional Experience: Prior to academia, Michelle specialized in neurological rehabilitation, worked with the DWP on condition management, managed multidisciplinary teams, and spearheaded service improvements in falls prevention and emergency care.

Labs/Teams: She is affiliated with the OT team at Sheffield Hallam and previously contributed to teams such as the falls prevention unit and Mexborough Montagu Hospital's team development programs.
