Michelle F. Eble is a Professor in the Department of English at East Carolina University, where she coordinates the PhD Program in Rhetoric, Writing, and Professional Communication. Her research focuses on the intersection of rhetorical theory, technical communication, and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on social justice, research ethics, and mentoring networks in graduate education.

Her recent work explores ethical and equitable use of generative AI in teaching and research, and she has served as an ECU Graduate School Faculty Fellow (2022-2024). Her publications span topics like digital activism, gendered pathologies, and pedagogical innovations in technical communication.
