Michelle Davila, M.S., N.D., serves as a Special Instructor in the Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at Oakland University’s School of Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine, a Master of Science in Plant Biology from the University of Vermont, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan.
Her teaching focuses on Human Health and Disease, Integrative Medicine, Bioethics, and Medical Education. Clinically, she practices integrative medicine at Corewell Health and teaches mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). She also serves as an adjunct clinical faculty member at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and leads the Integrative Medicine in Residency Program via the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center.
Dr. Davila has extensive experience in healthcare settings including hospitals, private practice, and community health centers in the U.S. and Central America. Professional affiliations include the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health, American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Yoga Alliance.
