Dr. Michelle Bussière-Prytula is an Associate Professor at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy (JSGS), University of Saskatchewan, where she joined in April 2023. Prior to this role, she served as Dean of the College of Education and remained an active faculty member in the Department of Educational Administration. Her career includes leadership positions in Pre-K-12 education across Saskatchewan. Dr. Bussière-Prytula holds a PhD, MEd, BEd, and BComm from the University of Saskatchewan.

Her research focuses on organizational learning, professional learning communities, and educational leadership accountability. She has contributed to understanding financial accountability in higher education and public sector leadership frameworks.
Dr. Bussière-Prytula has supervised numerous graduate students in educational administration, exploring themes like teacher identity, mentorship, and policy implementation. Key publications span topics such as clinical simulation in nursing education, Indigenous teacher experiences, and distributed leadership models.
She has delivered invited keynotes internationally, including presentations on UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goal #4 (Quality Education) and phenomenological research methodologies.
