Michela Clemente is an Adjunct Professor of East Asian Religions and Philosophies at Sapienza University of Rome. She serves as the Scientific Responsible for the Tucci Tibetan Collection ("Biblioteca IsIAO") at the National Library in Rome and teaches Oriental Book History at the Central Institute for Book and Archives Conservation (ICPAL). A Tibetologist by training, her work intersects with Buddhist studies, book culture, and interdisciplinary approaches to Tibetan and Mongolian heritage.

She contributes to projects like Tibetan Book Evolution and Technology and collaborates with institutions such as the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge.
