Michela BOSETTI

Michela BOSETTI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale Amedeo Avogadro. Her research focuses on tissue regeneration, bone biology, and the development of bioactive materials for clinical applications. She leads projects in mesenchymal stromal cell therapy, antibacterial nanotechnology, and osteosarcopenia prevention.

Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to health and well-being (SDG 3). Key research areas include osteoblast behavior, cartilage repair, and the use of natural extracts like Equisetum arvense to combat age-related degeneration. Recent studies explore silver-doped platelet-rich plasma for implant-associated infections and Rhamnolipid biosurfactants for dental implant biofilm control.

Dr. BOSETTI has supervised three academic works. Her projects are funded by institutions like MIUR and Fondazione Cariplo, focusing on nanotechnology for bone development, non-viral vector toxicity, and high-value polyphenols from olive oil waste. She collaborates internationally on topics like nanomaterials and stem cell therapies.
