Michaele Tomrell serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric at Oakland University, where she has taught foundational writing courses since 2016 after joining higher education in 2010. Based in O'Dowd Hall, she instructs WRT1020 Basic Writing, WRT1050 Composition I, and WRT1060 Composition II while maintaining an active student-centered teaching approach.
