Michaela Schweiger

Michaela Schweiger is a Professor in the Time-based Arts discipline at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle since 2011, and served as Pro Rector from 2014 to 2018. She holds a Master's degree from Berlin University of the Arts and postgraduate studies in audio-visual Media from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Her work explores social, architectural, and urban spaces alongside media influence, blending factual scenarios with imaginative outcomes through installations, film, and drawings.
