Christine Triebsch

Christine Triebsch is a Professor at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle since 1993 and has served as Head of the Image Space Object Glass course since 1991. She held administrative roles as Dean of the Art Faculty (1995–1997) and Pro-rector (1998–2000). Her academic journey includes studies in Industrial Design (1974–1980) and a doctoral candidacy (1980–1982).

Research interests revolve around glass art, textile design, and collaborative projects. Notable works include window glass designs across Germany and exhibitions in France, Great Britain, Iceland, Japan, Austria, and South Korea. Upcoming events include the ZUKÜNFTE – Material und Design von Morgen exhibition (2025) and a sound installation Dreamworld.

She actively organizes academic events like the BURG Session 2025 and exhibitions showcasing student works, such as the Jahresausstellung 2025. Her professional contributions bridge artistic practice with institutional leadership in design and fine arts.
