Thomas Greis

Thomas Greis is a Professor at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, part of the Design Faculty. His career includes roles as a fashion designer, editor, and academic leader. From 1993–2015, he held a professorship at BURG, focusing on design education and practice. He has been deeply involved in organizing exhibitions and events such as the 2025 Jahresausstellung, Studio Plenta installations, and collaborations with institutions like the neue theater Halle.
