Professor Michael V. Hernandez, J.D., has been a faculty member at Regent University School of Law since 1992, where he teaches courses in Appellate Advocacy, Property Law, International Human Rights, and Race & the Law. He has held significant roles including Dean of the School of Law, Director of LL.M. programs, and Director of the Honors Program. As faculty advisor to the Moot Court Board and Hispanic Law Students Association, he has shaped legal education and student development.

Hernandez’s research spans property law, race and the law, law and religion, and appellate advocacy. His scholarly work examines the intersection of religious beliefs with legal principles, equity in property law, and social justice.
