Erin K. DeBoer is an Assistant Professor at Regent University School of Law, specializing in Appellate Advocacy, Legal Research, and Writing. She is set to become Director of the Legal Writing Program starting the 2025–26 academic year. Her career combines academic teaching, appellate law expertise, and civil litigation experience.

Research & Practice: DeBoer's work focuses on appellate advocacy and legal writing pedagogy. She previously served as a law clerk to Justice S. Bernard Goodwyn in the Supreme Court of Virginia, and as an appellate attorney specializing in civil appeals. Her practice involved legal research, brief writing, and oral arguments before Virginia's appellate courts.
