Michael Tåhlin is a Professor of Sociology at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI), Stockholm University, where he has held various academic positions since 1987. His career includes roles as Associate Professor (1992-1998) and Assistant Professor (1988-1992) at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University, followed by a Researcher position at SOFI (1987-1988) before ascending to his current professorship.
