Charlotta Magnusson is a Lecturer at Stockholm University's Department of Labor Market Studies (AKPA) and deputy director at the Institute for Social Research (SOFI). She leads the GAINS interdisciplinary research group focused on gender, labor market, health, and education.
Research Focus: Social stratification, gender wage gaps, parenthood's impact on careers, adolescent health outcomes, and family alcohol use effects. Her work spans longitudinal studies (e.g., Swedish Level-of-Living Surveys) and cross-national comparisons in Nordic countries.
Key Projects: Includes a FORTE-funded program [24 MSEK, dnr:2023-00034] analyzing gender differences in wages, careers, and health.
