Michael Shelichach is a Lecturer in First-Year Writing at Barnard College, where he has taught first-year writing and British and world literature courses since 2012. He holds a Ph.D. in English from The CUNY Graduate Center and a B.A. in English from The College of New Jersey.

- Victorian and Modernist literature
- Cultural and Narrative theory
- Ecocriticism
Prior to joining Barnard, he taught at Queens College, Yeshiva University, Marymount Manhattan College, and Lehman College, where he also served as a Writing Across the Curriculum Fellow.
