معرفی
Michael Norris is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the structural and molecular assembly mechanisms of deadly RNA viruses, including paramyxoviruses (e.g., measles, mumps, Nipah) and filoviruses (e.g., Ebola, Marburg). Using techniques such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM, he investigates viral matrix proteins as key coordinators of virion assembly and budding, aiming to advance structure-based antiviral drug discovery.
