Michael Lister

Professor Michael Lister is a Professor of Politics at Oxford Brookes University, affiliated with the School of Law and Social Sciences. He has held academic roles since 2000, including Senior Lecturer (2007-2013) and Reader in Politics (2013-present). His research focuses on counterterrorism policy, citizenship, and state influence on public behavior, with a particular emphasis on the UK context. He leads the School's research initiatives and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
