Dr. Frank Foley is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the Department of War Studies, King's College London. His research focuses on counterterrorism, human rights, and security policy, with comparative studies on British and French counterterrorism strategies. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute (2008) and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge. Prior roles include post-doctoral fellowships at Stanford University’s CISAC and the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies in Madrid. He has engaged with governments and media, contributing to debates on security and human rights through op-eds in outlets like the Washington Post and Guardian.
