Itoitz Rodrigo-Jusue is a Vice-Chancellor Independent Research Fellow at Loughborough University's School of Social Sciences and Humanities. She holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Roehampton (2021) and master’s degrees in Cultural Studies (Goldsmiths, University of London) and Feminist and Gender Studies (University of the Basque Country).

Her research focuses on counter-terrorism, radicalisation, media representation, and gender dynamics in security contexts.
