Michael Jasper is a Professor of Architecture at the University of Canberra, leading the Faculty of Arts and Design as Chair of the Faculty Board. He holds dual appointments in the Architecture, Design & Built Environment department and the Centre for Creative & Cultural Research. With extensive professional experience as a Partner at Cooper Robertson & Partners in New York, he bridges academic and practice expertise. His research focuses on 20th-century architectural theory, urban design, and resilient spatial strategies. Notable projects include the Sustainable Shine Dome (Australian Heritage Grant) and Haig Park Activation (ACT Government grant). He has authored influential books like Trajectories in Architecture and Architectural Possibilities in the Work of Eisenman, and serves on national committees including the Venice Architecture Biennale Curatorial Committee.
