Michael Genovese is a Professor at Loyola Marymount University (LMU), serving as Director of the LMU Institute for Leadership Studies and President of the Global Policy Institute. He has been recognized for his teaching excellence, including the APSA Distinguished Teaching Award (2017), one of only five recipients in the association’s history. His career spans 39 years at LMU, where he developed transformative programs such as the Hansard Scholars Program and internships in Washington, D.C., and Oxford. He holds a doctorate in political science from the University of Southern California.
