Michael Gamble is a tenured Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s College of Design and School of Architecture. He serves as Director of Graduate Studies and previously directed the Master of Architecture program from 2015 to 2022. A registered architect and founder of G+G Creative, Gamble’s research spans scales from houses to cities, emphasizing sustainable design, innovation, and the role of history in design education. He played a pivotal role in the Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design (KBISD), managing its development and leading interdisciplinary teams.

His work focuses on climate change mitigation, alternative energy integration, and design-driven pedagogy, often bridging sociocultural and ecological perspectives. He co-authored the organizational framework for KBISD, which has been adopted in funded pilot projects.
