Michael Freeman

Michael Freeman is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota, affiliated with the College of Biological Sciences and the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics. His research focuses on uncovering metabolic pathways and genes responsible for natural product biosynthesis in unconventional microbial sources, including uncultivated 'dark matter' organisms.
