Michael Flannery

Dr. Michael Flannery is an Assistant Professor specializing in Visual Arts Education within Dublin City University's School of Arts Education and Movement. With extensive experience in teacher professional development, he focuses on enhancing educators' creative capacities and self-efficacy in visual arts instruction.

Research explores the intersection of visual arts education with imagination development, creative thinking, and multi-literacy skills, with particular emphasis on arts-rich STEAM approaches and interdisciplinary curriculum integration.
