Michael Ewing-Chow is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore (NUS). He previously worked at Allen & Gledhill and has served as a consultant to the Singapore Government, World Bank, and WTO. He co-founded aidha, an NGO addressing financial education and microfinance for domestic migrant workers. He holds an LLM from Harvard University and an LLB (Hons) from NUS.

His research focuses on World Trade Law, corporate governance, and legal reform. He pioneered Singapore’s first World Trade Law course and contributed to major corporate law reforms, including the Companies Act review in 2008. His work spans Asia and Latin America, training government officials in trade law and corporate governance.
- Awards: Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2007), Teaching Excellence Awards (2007, 2009), Inspiring Mentor Award (2009)
He has advised on Singapore’s Free Trade Agreements and led legal reforms. His NGO work through aidha reflects his commitment to social entrepreneurship. He was an Emile Noel Fellow at NYU in 2009 and teaches courses like World Trade Law and Company Law at NUS.
