Michael Collins is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for Nursing Associates at the University of Sunderland. He is a registered nurse with expertise in Critical Care and Critical Care Outreach, and has led the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship in collaboration with Spire Healthcare. His career spans clinical practice and academic roles, including service in the Royal Navy as an engineering technician before transitioning to nursing.
