Michael Butler is Professor of Management at Bangor Business School, Bangor University, and Visiting Professor at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance. He directs The TRANSFORMATION Project, exploring organizational change through institutional, biological, and historical lenses. His research has secured ~£2.6m in funding, with measurable economic impacts including SME growth and policy evaluation for international bodies like the OECD.

His research examines organizational transformation, sustainability, and cognitive neuroscience applications in management.
